All Our Children..

There is, (among many), a part of the world that everyday sees another sunrise bring with it pain, suffering, death-far too soon....but, along with this is the courage, love, strength and determination to survive and help others live with as much dignity and wellbeing as possible.


Swaziland has the world's highest AIDS infection rate. Of the country's
population of 1.1 million, there are more than 200,000 people living with HIV.
The number of children orphaned by this disease now exceeds 78,000. 10% of Swazi
households are run by children. These children often lack food and are cut off
from basic health services and education. Many children wind up living with
their extended families, whose resources are increasingly stretched to the
breaking point.How best to care for these many children and poor families has
become a huge challenge.
