All Our Children..

My Life

My life began with duty's pride,
My life shall live with beauty's light.
My life shall sport with reality's soul,
My life shall end with Divinity's height

There is, (among many), a part of the world that everyday sees another sunrise bring with it pain, suffering, death-far too soon....but, along with this is the courage, love, strength and determination to survive and help others live with as much dignity and wellbeing as possible.

Quote:

Swaziland has the world's highest AIDS infection rate. Of the country's
population of 1.1 million, there are more than 200,000 people living with HIV.
The number of children orphaned by this disease now exceeds 78,000. 10% of Swazi
households are run by children. These children often lack food and are cut off
from basic health services and education. Many children wind up living with
their extended families, whose resources are increasingly stretched to the
breaking point. How best to care for these many children and poor families has
become a huge challenge.

My dear friend Maithri from:

is there at the moment, he, along with many others, care for and try to make it a better world for these beautiful children and adults.

All Our Children.

Soul receives from soul that knowledge, therefore not by book nor from tongue. If knowledge of mysteries come after emptiness of mind, that is illumination of heart.
(Rumi)

"Every day we do things, we are things that have to do with peace. If we are aware of our life..., our way of looking at things, we will know how to make peace right in the moment, we are alive."

~Thich Nhat Hanh

Kiss The Earth
~
Walk and touch peace every moment.

Walk and touch happiness every moment.

Each step brings a fresh breeze.

Each step makes a flower bloom.

Kiss the Earth with your feet.

Bring the Earth your love and happiness.

The Earth will be safe when we feel safe in ourselves.

~Thich Nhat Hanh
